Jim Corbett National Park is the oldest national park in India and was established in 1936 as Hailey National Park to protect the endangered Bengal tiger. Spread over an area of more than 521 square kms, it is located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhnad. The park is divided into five zones namely the dhikala, the jhirna, the bijrani, the domunda and the sonanadi. Kausani
